Venture Design and Print Terms and Conditions

Please review this Shipping & Delivery Policy carefully when ordering printed products from Venture Design and Print.

Where there is any inconsistency between this Shipping & Delivery Policy and our Terms and Conditions, our Terms and Conditions will apply.

Where Do We Deliver?

Venture Design and Print currently supplies and delivers printed goods to addresses within the United Kingdom only.

We do not currently offer international shipping for physical printed products.

This does not prevent international Clients from purchasing Graphic Design, Branding, Website Design or Website Development Services from Venture Design and Print, or from purchasing print-ready artwork which they arrange to have printed independently in their own country.

Shipping & Delivery

Printed goods may be delivered using DPD or another suitable courier or delivery service.

In some cases, printed goods may be dispatched directly to the Client by one of our third-party print manufacturers, production partners or suppliers.

The courier or delivery service used may therefore vary depending upon the product, production method, supplier, destination and other requirements of the order.

All shipping, dispatch and delivery times are estimates unless Venture Design and Print has expressly agreed a specific guaranteed delivery date in writing.

Production & Turnaround Times

Production or turnaround time is separate from shipping or delivery time.

Your printed goods must first be produced before they can be dispatched for delivery.

All production and turnaround times quoted by Venture Design and Print are estimates only unless we have expressly agreed a specific guaranteed date in writing.

Production times vary depending upon the product, quantity, materials, finishing requirements, current workload, supplier capacity and availability of materials.

Busy Periods

During busy periods, print production may take approximately 14–30 days.

Clients should not assume that a standard or previously experienced turnaround time will apply to every order.

The 14–30 day period is itself an estimate and is not a guaranteed maximum turnaround time.

Production may take longer where circumstances reasonably require it.

When Does Production Time Begin?

An estimated production or turnaround period will normally begin only once:

the complete order specification has been agreed;
final artwork has been supplied or approved;
all information required for production has been received; and
payment for the print order has been received in full.

Delays in supplying artwork, information, approval or payment may delay production and delivery.

Payment Before Production

ALL PRINTING ORDERS MUST BE PAID FOR IN FULL BEFORE THE ORDER IS SUBMITTED FOR PRODUCTION.

This applies whether the order consists solely of Printing Services or printing forms part of a wider Graphic Design, Branding, Website or other Project.

Where a Project includes both Graphic Design and printing, the full invoice amount for both the Graphic Design work and the printing must be paid before artwork is released to print or production begins.

Estimated Delivery Times

Once production has been completed and the order has been dispatched, delivery will normally take approximately 2–3 working days, where this delivery service applies.

This delivery period is an estimate only and is separate from the production or turnaround period.

Delivery times may vary depending upon the courier, delivery destination, product, supplier and circumstances affecting the delivery network.

A previously experienced delivery time should not be treated as a guarantee that future orders will arrive within the same period.

Shipping Charges

Where free delivery is included with an order, this will be shown on the relevant Quotation, invoice, order confirmation or product information.

Where a delivery charge applies, the applicable charge will be communicated before the order is confirmed.

Additional delivery charges may apply where special delivery arrangements are requested or required.

Date-Critical Orders

If you require printed goods for a particular date, event, exhibition, promotion, launch or other deadline, you must inform Venture Design and Print before placing your order.

Clients are responsible for allowing sufficient time for both production and delivery.

Unless Venture Design and Print has expressly agreed a specific guaranteed completion or delivery date in writing, estimated production, dispatch and delivery dates do not constitute guaranteed deadlines.

We therefore recommend placing date-critical orders as early as possible.

What Can Cause Production or Delivery Delays?

Production, dispatch or delivery may be affected by circumstances including:

unusually high production demand;
busy seasonal periods;
courier delays;
equipment failure;
supplier delays;
material shortages;
adverse weather;
transport disruption;
unsuitable or incomplete artwork;
delayed Client approval;
delayed or incomplete payment;
incorrect or incomplete delivery information; or
other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

Where a delay occurs, Venture Design and Print will use reasonable endeavours to complete and/or deliver the order as soon as reasonably possible.

What Happens If My Order Is Delayed?

If we become aware of a significant delay affecting your order, we will endeavour to provide you with updated information where reasonably practicable.

Any revised production or delivery date provided will remain an estimate unless Venture Design and Print expressly confirms in writing that the revised date is guaranteed.

This does not affect your statutory rights.

Courier Delays

Once an order has been dispatched, delivery is carried out by an independent courier, supplier or delivery provider.

Venture Design and Print cannot directly control the operation of third-party courier networks.

If a delivery is delayed after dispatch, we will provide reasonable assistance in investigating the delivery with the relevant courier or supplier where appropriate.

Delivery Address

The Client is responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address when placing an order.

Please check your delivery information carefully before approving and paying for your order.

Venture Design and Print cannot accept responsibility for delays or failed deliveries resulting from incorrect or incomplete delivery information supplied by the Client.

Where an order has to be redirected, returned or dispatched again because incorrect delivery information was supplied, additional delivery charges may apply.

Receiving Your Delivery

Depending upon the courier and delivery service used, someone may need to be available to receive the delivery.

The courier may provide tracking information, delivery notifications, alternative delivery options or instructions directly to the Client.

These facilities are provided by the relevant courier and their availability cannot be guaranteed by Venture Design and Print.

Multiple-Item Orders

Where an order contains several printed products, individual products may have different production times.

Where products are produced or dispatched together, the overall timescale may be determined by the item with the longest production period.

In some circumstances, products forming part of the same order may be produced or delivered separately.

Damaged, Defective or Incorrect Deliveries

Please inspect your printed goods as soon as reasonably practicable following delivery.

If your order arrives damaged, appears defective, contains a shortage or does not correspond with the agreed specification, please contact Venture Design and Print promptly.

We may ask you to provide photographs or other reasonable evidence and to retain the affected goods and packaging while the matter is investigated.

Nothing in this Shipping & Delivery Policy affects your statutory rights where goods are faulty, not as described or have not been produced in accordance with the agreed specification.

Returns & Refunds

Most printed goods supplied by Venture Design and Print are bespoke products manufactured specifically to the Client’s approved specification.
